The universe of Michel Prince has always revolved around organizing events. His curiosity about the functioning of a kitchen, in addition to event organization, intrigued him to such an extent that, without realizing it, he had been elevated to a fate that would make him an entrepreneur at heart. This is also what led him to study hotel management at the Institut du Tourisme et d'Hôtellerie du Québec, in addition to completing his training in administration at Concordia University.
After a noteworthy spell at the renowned Four Seasons Hotel, his dream became a reality. He brought in a friend who was a chef, which is the origin of the name Maître & Chef, and a catering company was born in 1988.
The two essential elements in realizing his wildest dreams, it goes without saying, were the love of culinary art combined with the art of hospitality. Over the years, Michel Prince and Chantal Turmel have developed a two-sided expertise with a diligent team that has made Maître & Chef an outstanding caterer whose reputation is as undeniable for the preparation of meals, 5 à 7 cocktails, and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as it is for organizing receptions and large-scale galas serving up to 3,000 people.
Following the conception and planning of the event by Chantal Turmel, all related services, including the personnel, equipment rental, bar service, and decor, are provided by a staff experienced in mastering the fine art of hospitality, which is the source of events worthy of the highest praise.

In this logical spirit, Maître & Chef enlisted the services of a sommelier and oenologist, Adrian Rodriguez. His experience in the world of wine gives him a remarkable expertise of great benefit to our customers. His mandate is to harmonize the pairing of wines with the selected dishes.
